Okemo itself is a 'quieter' ski mountain; not as many 'yahoos' as other places, maybe even tucked out of the way a bit, but if you go to ski, I mean really SKI, then you'll appreciate the ease at which you can get around town.

If you're used to skiing New York, it's only another 2 hours to Okemo & the mountains are 10x the size of the closer NY ski areas....

VAST Snowmobile Network

That's me, below, at 'The Pinnacle' right across Route 103 from Okemo. Great trails close by & guess where I store & leave my sled?

Want to go snowmobiling but don't own one?  Call my friend Brian Villa at Snow Country Snowmobiles. You can (1) Rent or (2) Store your own sled at his place if you want to! Great access to the VAST trails & he can direct you to stickers/registration and he does repairs right on premises!
